2JZ - ECONOMICAL "H" BEAM STEEL CONNECTING RODS - learn more about our connecting rods

Manley "H" Beam connecting rods are manufactured from 4340 forgings to the same exacting standards developed and approved by our original equipment customers. There is a vast difference in quality between a Manley "H" Beam and the "other" inexpensive H-Beams on the market. Weight matched to +/- 1.5 grams. Perfectly round big and small ends. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" ARP 2000 for the "H" Beam and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for the H-Tuff Plus.

2JZ - PRO SERIES TURBO TUFF "I" BEAM STEEL CONNECTING RODS - learn more about our connecting rods

Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 vacuum degassed material. Each rod is fully machined in the Manley Lakewood, NJ factory to the highest standards. Our signature "Turbo Tuff" design combines the appropriate weight and rugged strength for ultimate horsepower applications. Each rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Bores are round and without taper. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. Cap fasteners are 3/8" APR 2000 cap screws.

These rods are also available with ARP 625+ fasteners. To order, affix an "R6" to the part number.

  • Tapered I-Beam with undercut beam profile optimizes strength-to-weight
  • Ribbed pin end surround helps to maintain pin bore roundness
  • Pin oil holes at 10:00 and 2:00 improve pin bore lubrication
  • Large radius cap corners with a shallow bolt spotface improves crank end fatigue strength
